Yeah... it might just be bias talking now that we've got a new suspect, but Xion doesn't seem... all that people savvy—which is unsurprising, considering what her world's like. Dunno if she mentioned the details about her home to anyone else.

But anyway, if Dr. Lecter's telling her how to manipulate people...

If you mean about her memories and how she was born...I know. She told me.

We don't know that's what's going on. The thing we really need to think about is if Xion's actually listening to him if he is.

Well, that and her world in general. She told me there weren't many people in it—fourteen in total, nine she knew—and that the population we had here at the start of the game was a lot in her eyes. In other words, she's got very little experience dealing with other living beings.

... We know she's impressionable. I mean, she listens to me, and I'm the guy who did everything I could to make her hate me after Riku's death [people uh might recall that Xion was not happy with Shinnosuke that trial], so that's the standard she has for people.

Which means she's almost naive in a lot of senses, and would easily attach to someone who would help her find answers and understand what was going on.

[So yes, impressionable.] I'm not going to ask what's happened between you two, but it's a standard to keep in mind. We don't know what else she's being told. Especially now that we know she's lying to us.
