Not particularly. But we're running out of obvious assholes to sacrifice during trials. Maybe not HIM, but someone's going to be a backstabber.

Nothing on his profile mentions him being a doctor. If he didn't want to help any of us, he could have fucked us over from the start and nobody would have known better, right?

Maybe he wanted to build up a good reputation so that nobody would ever suspect him. Seizaburo was pretty eager to defend him during trials for that reason, after all.
