It hadn't been easy coordinating everything, but it was necessary.

Damian told me the Sheriff planned to kill her off. He tried to barter for her life. Didn't work out.
It doesn't sound like a coincidence.

... Does he know why the Sheriff wanted her dead? Because he knew we'd all lose it if someone like her was killed? Or because she wasn't doing her role right?
