[It's early evening when the Bounty group gathers again. There's more to discuss now that they've had time to cope and pick themselves up again, ready to get back to work. Time is still marching on and it's nothing that they can waste.

Together again, they settle. The room is quiet for a time as they all gather their thoughts. With everything that came up this weekend? They need a new plan of action.]

You told me in the last meeting that we would need him either way to find those solutions, didn't you?

If we have a lead we're not following, we're putting him at risk. Even if I revive him once, I don't think there's anything stopping them from killing him again if they know who he is.

Yes, that's right. I had hoped in the beginning that the Deputy would be willing to work with us for a peaceful solution, but--

[she isn't quite sure if that's viable anymore?? they'll have to. . . see. . .]

And while that's true, if Damian is killed by the Deputy then the individual in that role has succeeded in outing themselves. We can then plan an appropriate retaliatory measure.

Do you think the Sheriff would tell us if it was the Deputy who killed him? Not just someone who picked him randomly, not knowing his role?

[she has to think about this one, but in the end, she nods]

I believe he would. While he didn't specify which role was responsible for Russell's murder, he did tell us that someone with a role committed it.

I think we could use a similar line of questioning to get him to admit to us that it was the Deputy's doing.

But even if he told us that, that would depend on us actually figuring out who the Deputy is to take any action against them, right?

It would. And since we have no way to confirm our suspicions now, we'll have to act on mere supposition and guesswork.

[which she doesn't like, but hey, that's the reality of their situation]

Yeah. I just don't know if I like the idea of putting him more at risk to protect a failsafe that we know he probably won't take advantage of, you know?

[She sighs.]

But you're probably right.
