The future's in doubt, you're on your own [Week 6, Friday]

[Silence fills the room. They've lost one of their own and their biggest chance to end the game. It's no surprise no one's in a good mood, but they all know they have to be here.

So...who will speak first?]

He must have had a lot of merit stored up from being a nutbar, right? It might have been an answer to something he asked the Sheriff.

[... In which case, they need to ask the Sheriff about that as soon as possible.]

[YEAH. . . probably. these kids, taking everything they get as a hint or code of some kind. but what else do they have to go on, now that the Deputy is dead, now that Shinnosuke is dead as well? Milla is certainly grasping at everything she can]

If we are under some sort of time limit, then why on Earth would the Sheriff not tell us that in the beginning? It seems like vital information, something we could learn without using up our merit.

There's a lot of stuff that seems like "vital information" we weren't privy to during the first weeks, remember? My guess is he doesn't care what we know, as long as we fulfill our purpose.

[And that's... being entertainment.]

Fair enough. I suppose having to earn our information makes the game more. . . ah.

Entertaining.

If they're into watching people squirm, we're definitely prime time television. Might as well keep that in mind.
